Warranty policy:
The hotel requires a credit card to hold reservations; this card is used to guarantee the room’s availability on the night of arrival.
The hotel reserves the right to run the credit card prior to arrival; if the card has expired, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.
The hotel will carry out no advance charges on the credit card; the total charge for the reservation must be paid directly at the hotel. Various promotions and special rates may apply during the reservation process.
Non-refundable reservations require prepayment in full of the length of stay and may not be changed or cancelled.
Deposit policy:
Reservations whose totals exceed 600 Euros require a deposit in the amount of the first night of the stay. This value is charged to the credit card and may be refunded in full so long as the reservation is cancelled no less than 3 days prior to arrival.
An advance deposit is also required in the case of reservations for stays longer than 7 days, or that involve more than 5 rooms. The hotel will in this case indicate the preferred method of payment.
Cancellation policy:
Reservations may be cancelled with no penalty until 6:00 pm the day before arrival. In the case of late cancellations or no-shows, the amount of the first night of the stay will be charged, taxes included, to the credit card provided, and the duration of the reservation will be cancelled.
In the case of non-refundable reservation cancellations, no amount of the prepaid deposit will be returned.
In addition, this hotel entirely fulfils the professional requirements of its customers, placing at their disposal seven period rooms, entirely restored and fitted out for all kinds of meetings or private lunches, five large fully equipped meeting rooms and a free-access business centre from where they can work.
Comfort and the latest technology are common features of Hotel 1898’s various installations. Customers can keep fit in the gym, or relax in the outdoor pool with solarium, in the spa, which has a dry sauna, a steam bath, therapeutic showers, massage and treatment cabins, and an indoor pool with a massage bench using micro-bubbles and water beds.
As far as its architectural style is concerned, the hotel has a colonial hall with several atmospheres and two libraries for enjoying peaceful hours of reading, as well as various restaurants, a bar, a café and a private car park.
